Straddling the Aure and Drome rivers, this 15th-century mill will welcome you for your vacation! Initially intended to produce flour, it was later used for electricity production before becoming a sawmill. Completely renovated, it now houses three gîtes within a large farmhouse. Classified as three-star furnished tourist accommodation, the gîte “La Maison du Meunier” (6 people), the gîte “Au Bord de l'Aure” (6 people) and the gîte “Les Merisiers” (9 people) offer you all the comfort and equipment necessary for a pleasant stay!

Ideally located in the middle of the famous landing beaches of June 6, 1944, you will be at the heart of history! 3 km from Port-en-Bessin and 5 km from Bayeux, you will enjoy the proximity of the sea, the calm of the countryside and the charm of the river. You will appreciate the 2 ha wooded park bordering the river. A garage is available for parking vehicles for the “mer et campagne” gîtes and a private parking lot in front of the “les merisiers” gîte.
Children can play safely in the large courtyard (access gate to the river locked for little ones).
Games are available to them (ping-pong table, table football, darts, swings, etc.)
They will be able to visit the animals in their enclosure (chickens, rabbits, dwarf goats, etc.)

Beautiful beaches, including the famous Omaha Beach 7km away, await you for swimming, shore fishing, or water sports (kite surfing, sand yachting, shore walking, etc.). You will find shops and restaurants 5 minutes away in Port en Bessin. You will be at the heart of history between Arromanches and Omaha Beach with a visit to all the sites, museums, and cemeteries of the Normandy landings. The town of Bayeux is 10 minutes away, a medieval city and the first liberated city in France.
From Mont St Michel to the Pays d'Auge, you will travel through Normandy and taste local products.
